Nationalist propaganda, in the National Museum near Taipei. The National Museum in Beijing no doubt has some similar plaque presenting the opposing viewpoint, although I don't remember if I have a photo.
When touring the museum, the thought struck me that the Nationalists must have carried away a lot of China's cultural treasures (as well as their gold reserves) when fleeing to Taiwan, although at the time I didn't much feel like photographing them.
Don't conclude from this that they did anything wrong, though. The mainland offered a stark contrast, with one barren cultural site after another that had been destroyed in the Cultural Revolution. The scale of that destruction can be hard to appreciate from abroad (and maybe even there if visiting now, given decades of new growth in China). In short: if it weren't for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and overseas Chinese communities, a lot of Chinese cultural history would have been lost forever.
