Taiwan was my first stop when I set out to travel around Asia and Africa in 1992. I only stayed a few days before moving on to Hong Kong, visiting Taipei and (briefly) Hualien. Those interested can read more in my travelogue from the trip.

These photos were taken on a Canon AE-1, I think using slide film. All the old photos from that trip required cleanup before posting here, not just for scratches and smudges but also scanning artifacts. This batch weren't the most damaged but I didn't invest much effort because I don't think they're very interesting.

I present them here mostly for documentary or historical purposes; that is, in case somebody needs an image of the places for some purpose, particularly comparing what Taiwan was like in 1992 to now.
