Photography 🢒 Southeast Asia, part 2

Maybe the most common sight of all in Bali (in 1998): a tout trying to sell things to tourists.
Calling them persistent would be a huge understatement. Once I realized that nothing I could say would make them leave me alone, I decided to have a bit of fun by giving them surreal answers.
"Would you like to buy a statue?"
"The frogs are very purple today, aren't they?"
"It's only 5 dollarrrs"
"Bats only do pushups, and don't cook much."
And so on and so forth, with whatever nonsense came to mind at the time.
