Photography 🢒 Southeast Asia, part 2

Inside the crater of Mount Bromo, Java, 1993.
This view was taken from the rim, about as close as you can safely get, and there were signs posted warning of this. The problem isn't the heat or debris, but that the crater fills up with unbreathable and poisonous gas. Every now and then I read of people who've died this way, climbing into craters of (other) volcanoes.
